What Makes Us Different
Twistid Ink is not your average tattoo shop.
We are an upscale tattoo shop offering a unique and warm environment where everyone who enters feels comfortable and welcome, whether heavily inked or new to the tattoo culture.
The Space
We pride ourselves on the appearance of our studio. When you first enter, you will find yourself in a contemporary style lobby. Our decor features warm colors and simplistic wall hangings. You won't find offensive or intimidating materials on the walls or harsh, overbearing color schemes but rather a warm, welcoming environment that is more representative of a gallery or spa. Cleanliness is our main focus - in both our lobby and tattooing area.
When you are invited into the tattooing area, you will find yourself escorted into a separated, private room. This room is spacious, but sparsely decorated. This sparsity is to maintain sterility of the area and allow for easy - and proper - cleaning procedures. We are often told our tattooing space is representative of a doctor's office. You won't find excessive wall hangings, toys, or any non-essential items in our tattooing area.
Unlike many other shops, you won't find loud, offensive music piping through the entire building. We believe in selecting neutral music genres that are conducive of a pleasant experience for both client and artist. Tattooing is about more than just the artwork - it is a whole experience and we want you to feel comfortable. The music level is kept at an acceptable range which allows for conversation regarding the process.

The Staff
Our professional staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. Every member of our staff has previous work experience in customer service. Our decorum is above-board, presentable, and professional in both performance and appearance.
Our Resident Artist, Danny Belden, is highly recognized in the tattoo community for his skill, creativity, and ability to work with any space, style, or concept given to him. An internationally regarded cover-up specialist, Danny is a member of the Axys Rotary Pro-Team, Saniderm Pro-team, and has earned himself a global following over his tattooing career. He is an award-winning artist for his watercolor, black and grey, realism, and neo-traditional styles. Currently, Danny is only focusing on large-scale pieces.
Our front of house manager, Elisha Belden, is a world-renowned tattoo specialist. Considered a tattoo-history expert, she has been featured in documentaries and interviews in the United Kingdom regarding the subject and has been featured in BookedIn's advertising campaigns as a successful studio owner. Elisha's primary focus, however, is on tattoo aftercare and regulations of the industry. Her aftercare procedures are used by shops in countries across the world, as well as being recognized by some of the largest tattoo aftercare companies in the industry. She currently represents and writes content for Tattoo.com, Tattoocare.com, TattooAwards.com, and Saniderm.
Each member of our staff is fully trained to guide you through the tattoo process from start to finish. Whether you have questions about placement, style, or concept or you are inquiring about the aftercare process - Twistid Ink has the experience and the knowledge to answer all your questions or concerns.

The Process
At Twistid Ink, we want you to love the skin you're in. We feel you shouldn't have to live with a poor tattoo choice, whether from regret or shoddy work. Due to this, we require consultations prior to scheduling any tattoo appointment.
During the consultation appointment, you will sit down with one or more of our staff members for a one-on-one discussion regarding your tattoo idea. We will ask about the story behind the tattoo concept, if there is one, and will look at styles and samples of work you like as well as discuss any future tattoo possibilities in order to properly plan out your piece. Our consultations generally run from a half hour to an hour in length. During this time, we will ask questions that will help us get to know you in order to provide a tattoo that exceeds your expectations. From there, we will create a custom piece that you can be proud of.
Twistid Ink is an appointment only studio. We do this in order to guarantee our clients our complete focus during their appointment time.
Tattooing is a personal experience - we want you to enjoy the experience from start to finish.
